The contact attempted to steer the vehicle in a forward direction however, the vehicle failed to steer forward direction while turning the steering wheel. The vehicle spun 360 degrees and spun off the bridge and then back onto the roadway. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH and going over a bridge, the vehicle lost traction. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V859000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. Additionally, one of the rear seat belts was fractured. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle hesitated to respond while driving and depressing the accelerator pedal. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where an unknown repair was completed however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle failed to accelerate above 10 MPH.
